Milano Church build in Malindi Kenya
IN my first un-schedueled visit to Malindi in 2008 this is what i saw, it was the pastors house with its broken roof over the kitchen area, behind the green partition is where the family all slept on the mud floor. This was and still is a poor community, the pastor called Fredrick was trying against all odds to help those in need in his community, when i asked him why he didnt repair his house before the rains came, he replied, i cannot build my house before i build Gods house. I will always remember that focused response... Through the help of so many of you and Gods grace, we have managed to build a decent home for the pastor and his family and a good church building in Milano that is a great benifit to many in the community, as it is used for things outside of being a place of worship to God. (The Malindi Project) was started in the summer of 2008, see above the slide show of the new church building 2008/9 |

In 2009 we opened the new church in
Milano and baptised many new believers
There was worship and teaching on the beach prior to the baptisms
This short clip features pastor Donald Mzungu leading, this was taken during a return visit to Kenya in 2009. Donald pastors the succsessful Shariani church some 60 ks to the south and has been key support to me on the ground in all we have achieved in Malindi.
