October 2013
We held a number of meetings at Schools and also outside Crusades, Preaching the Gospel, sharing testimony and healing the sick. We ministered in Chodari, 250 received Jesus as their Saviour then at Kapecha School 300 received Christ, later at Kapecha outside crusade another 90 received Christ as their saviour. Then at Takaye primary School approx 400 said YES to Jesus, In Milano the Gospel was preached and just one soul cried out, it was so precious, this old man was unable to walk after a heart attack, after receiving his salvation through Christ we prayed for his healing and he slowly walked without sticks, just so amazing to see such priceless gifts. Many followed after seeing that for healing. Later in Vipingo 80 Children received Jesus as their saviour, it was our last stop before flying home, Earlier in August 68 received Christ in the Rift Valley as we held a series of Church meetings.
Evangelistic crusade meetings on the south coast of Kenya
Rural village of Chodari
October 2013 M.L.W. went back to the coastal areas of Kenya with real expectation of what God would do. On Sunday 13th October after celebration in the Shariani Church we travelled about 6 or 7 kilometres inland to the west to reach the village of Chodari, I visited this remote place briefly last year on my way back to the airport, I was given a word of knowledge there and God healed all the woman who came forward in that unscheduled meeting, so now we planned to return there for a crusade. There were problems reaching Chodari, the truck ahead of us broke down and blocked the narrow mud road, later that evening the p.a. system failed, this took up much valuable time and resources over the next two days, but we managed to buy a new amp and sound desk which was very much needed as we GO out. We came here to preach the gospel of salvation and these problems weren't going to stop us, we unloaded the bus and carried all our heavy equipment the last 1.5 kilometres to our destination where the gospel was preached.

The next day at the Chodari school there were over 250 salvations at the school in response to testimonies and the word being shared.
Bungoma and Mumias in the Rift valley North West Kenya, strengthened the Church for effective ministry again. August 2013
The trips to Bungoma and Mumias were so significant. It was a time of refreshing, strengthening and healing to so many Pastors and Church members, the Lord revealed many things that we could not have known, but local people confirmed were correct. One Pastor said from the platform, before we came he had felt like giving up, things had been very hard over many years, but now things have changed, he has fresh vision, they will even run all night prayer meetings.
God gave me a clear vision showing not only what had happened in the past and was holding this area back from growing, but He also showed the way to freedom for these people, this trip has helped whole communities to move on and has given them a fresh hope where they were struggling. Many have been healed of all kinds of sickness, we saw deliverance, and many salvations come. Through the deliberate act of repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation the Church has been greatly strengthened and is ministering from a place of Love once again, which carries the Power to set captives free. We give glory to God for what He done.

Eldoret AppealAugust 2013 I travelled to Eldoret in the Rift Valley area of North West Kenya. This short video presentation from Pastor Peter Simwa outlines some of the challenges he and his Church, Higher Vision Centre face working in this community with very little resources. They do a great job in providing hope and opportunities for many youth there. The land the Church sits on has just been sold and they now have to move. MLW would like to assist them by buying a plot of land which is now identified in the heart of Eldoret so they can continue their valuable roll working in this poor community.
We need funding to buy this land, the total cost is £2500. , your valued donations, large or small will make a big difference to what we can do here. Our goal is to help Pastor Simwa and his team at Higher Vision Centre to continue in serving the community in Eldoret. You can donate now via our donate page stating 'Eldoret Appeal' in the comments box, or feel free to contact us for more information. Thank you and God bless you. |

Eldoret Appeal
In August this year, I go to Nairobi before travelling North to a place called Eldoret, where I will meet Pastor Peter Simwa pictured in the slide show below, This is new ground for the MLW trust and I am excited to respond to his invitation to go and see the work he and his Church are doing to help their community and win the lost for Jesus. Pastor Peter is arranging some special meetings for me to share the Love and Power of Christ Jesus, what an amazing privilege, I look forward to seeing what God will do in what I believe is a trip of real purpose. The MLW trust exists to share the gospel, win the lost and equip the Church to do the same in what ever way the Lord leads. So It is a privilege to have this opportunity to visit and work with Pastor Peter for the gospel.
Later in October I go back to Kenya, this time with a small team, going much further South to an area between Shariani, and Malindi in the South East... I believe the salvation of souls is at the centre of Gods heart, that not one soul would be lost, 1 Timothy 2:4 Here we will hold some outside meetings to reach the lost and win them for Christ, to deliver those who are bound and see the sick healed according to the word of God.

Seeing the Joy on peoples faces as they are healed or receive Christ and know they are changed is something I cannot easily put into words, especially young children. You can help us to win souls for Christ and achieve so much, every trip has its costs, with travel, the setting up of small crusades, internal transport, equipment, fuel, food etc.
If you would like to sow into this work and help us to reach the poor and the under privileged and win them for Christ you can do that by donating on line now via our donate page.
Just before Christmas, we ran a crusade in the Takaye village, after preaching the gospel the Takaye Church supported by MLW fed many a Christmas dinner sending them home with food they would not have otherwise had, many were saved that weekend and many were healed to the glory of God who did it all.
But at the same time the Takaye Church lost their nursery school teacher who taught 17 young people each day, a lack of funding meant they could not hold the teacher, just £65.00 per month would pay a teachers salary and help these young people to get basic nursery education and grow up knowing the truth and the Love of Jesus, understanding their worth.
God bless you for your prayerful consideration. Proverbs 19:17
