I met an elderly lady earlier this year here in Jersey, she was very sick, she had been an alcoholic for decades, her whole body was taken over with arthritis, she was in constant pain in every joint and could not walk far unaided, I shared my testimony with her giving glory to God for what He has done for me. I told her how Jesus was both the giver of forgiveness and salvation all in one, eternal life with Him was available through Him for her (Mathew 1:21)
I asked her if she would like forgiveness, she said she definitely would, i shared how Jesus was the her healer and would heal all her deceases, (Psalm 103:1-5) I asked would she like me to pray for her healing, again she said she would, then finally i asked, would you like to know this Jesus the way I know Him, and she said yes I would, so we prayed through each element.
It was the most amazing thing to see this precious lady first profess Jesus as her personal Lord and saviour, she was so happy, then she was totally healed, all the pain left her body as we prayed, she was able to walk unaided with no pain, it was such a breakthrough for her to be set free in a moment, then later after she had flown home, she let me know, she had gone for a drink, she sat down with her glass of wine and just looked at it, wondering why she had it, she left that place and is now clean as a former alcoholic, the desire for alcohol has left her.
She has now gone on to start an Alpha course, her life has been transformed, her family have asked what has happened to her, people see the change, that is the Power of the gospel. As i simply shared my story and told her who Jesus was and what He desires for her, she got it all, Jesus wants us all to know Him and welcome Him in to our lives, and He wants us all to be healed. As believers we need to share all we have been freely given, if you dont know Him yet, you simply have to say Yes to Him. Ask Him to show Himself to you and transform your life in every area, if you mean it, He will do it. Its a great day out when this stuff happens, simply share what you have as a beleiver, then sit back and watch Jesus do all that we simply cant, its great, i pray for many more such opportunities for us all in 2013 in Jesus name..... Another Amazing healing in the U K. November 2012
I visited the Birmingham N E C for the Reinhard Bonnke Fire 2012 conference on Evangelism.
It was an amazing experience over a weekend, sitting next to me was a man called Roger, this is what happened as Reinhard Bonnke encouraged us to pray for one another.
Roger was part paralysed down his left side after a heart attack and then a stroke had hit him, he was unable to walk unaided and could not bend his left leg, he had suffered a nervous break down after loosing his job, Roger had tried suicide but failed praise God, he had lost all his confidence. As I prayed for Roger he shook, then God restored him, he walked without aid, he was able to smile again as muscles were restored, then he testified in front of thousands what God had done demonstrating the return of his confidence as God had touched him so Powerfully, the gospel is so practical, Glory to God who heals all over the world. amen...
