He has told you, O man, what is good- and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Education Project in Shariani

In the south of Kenya in Shariani we began a student’s education project a few years ago. Its aim was to give bright young people an opportunity to access secondary school education. Many can’t attend school because they can’t pay the fees of about £3.80 a week. We began with a group of seven students, through the love and support given by MLW partners, our initial group has seized their opportunity and have worked very hard, today we have a great success story to tell, 3 students, Elizabeth, Alice and Patrick, have all just finished their final exams and await their results. Kahindi pictured below is our first student to access university; he is now in Nairobi University on a 4 year commerce course. What an amazing privilege it is to help open the doors of opportunity for these bright young people. Thank you so much to all who have partnered with us to make this happen.

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

New School in Eldoret

During 2015 & 16 we have been reaching out to the poor, the sick and the un-saved, mainly In the Eldoret area. This is the location the Lord had shown me in a vision in 2014, where many children stood hungry, cold and lost on the rubbish dumps. Today we have heart-warming stories of salvations and healings to tell, many children are now attending school. MLW has worked with The Higher Vision Church in Eldoret. In 2014 Pastor Peter Simwa and I searched to find these children. Today, God in His Loving kindness has begun to restore many young lives.

The latest exciting news is the starting of a new school, which is attended by 165 children. MLW Trust is currently exploring some small business pilot projects to help fund the school, its teachers and the ground rent. These are some of the new exciting things that The Lord has begun through an open vision in the prayer room, our part was simply to GO in faith, and find His hidden treasure, the 'children'.

Re visiting Rose and the children; It was a joy to be able to get back to Momma Rose this Christmas, MLW helped her to provide a special Christmas to remember for all the children she looks after, We will be supporting Rose in her work here for 2016, Pastor Simwa of Higher Vision Church is also visiting Rose and these children, we are so happy they are growing up with a hope and a future, knowing Christ through the Love they receive and through the teaching of His word to them. This is Rose
Rose is a school teacher who has opened her home to the orphan and needy children in her area of Kenya. Each day many come to her and she takes them in and cares for them, feeds them, teaches them. She has some small support from her Church with this work of Love and care for those in need. It costs her but she lives a life of serving and giving daily.  We had the privilege of being invited to visit her and meet the children. We ministered to them and saw God move in their lives powerfully.

These children are the ones we need your support and prayers for, and also for Rose and Pastor Peter who are the front line troops in reaching these vulnerable children, Gods hidden treasure.

Our Latest News - December 2014
We have seen another amazing year of life changing miracles and breakthroughs for so many. It has been a very tough year but God has been seen throughout.

In January we started our first year with an education project, taking 7 very bright young students who had dreams but no access to education. With your help Mission Living Waters have opened the doors for this group and they are on their way. I have no doubt they can be tomorrows Doctors, Lawyers, Pilots, Radio presenters and more, these are some of their stated goals. We are waiting to see them gain entry to university in the next few years. Giving these young people from such poor communities such opportunities will change the life of those villages forever.

The photo is off Elizebeth (17) and I. Her goal is to become a lawyer.

Sickness is under the blood of Jesus
As many will know last October Angela was told she had cancer, it was such a huge shock to hear when I was in Africa seeing many miracles of healing and salvation. However, today Angela has been totally healed from the cancer that caused us both so much anguish last year. The doctors have said the nature of the physical healing is impossible. A clinic nurse commented that she had not seen anything like this in 25 years, we give glory to God, the battle belongs to the Lord.

It was a very difficult time but God is faithful as we trust Him. Angela was so strong in her approach to this fight throughout, I am so very proud of her and so thankful to God who delivers on all His promises.

Ministry in Jersey
Whilst I have been here in Jersey most of the year waiting to see Angela get her breakthrough in healing before going back to Africa, I felt the Lord prompt me about ministry here in Jersey during this period.

God has opened doors for me and I have seen many miracles of healing and salvations here in Jersey throughout this year. Sickness has yielded to the wonderful name of Jesus over and over.

Arthritis, back pain, slipped discs, carpal tunnel syndrome, depression, chronic elbow pain, fear, panic attacks, gout, ankles and knee pain, the list goes on and on and we have seen all these conditions healed here in Jersey this year to the glory of God who has given us Power and Authority in His name.

A vision that took me back to North Rift Kenya in November 2014.
Earlier in the year I had an open vision of children in slums and on rubbish dumps. They were filthy, cold and hungry. Dressed in rags they were searching in the rubbish for food. They seemed hopeless and there was a calling to GO and find these kids. I wrote down these words I felt were from the Lord.

'Would you stand on the rubbish dump and tell these children about My Son Jesus, I have hidden treasure in such places'

It was a shocking vision that challenged me for months. I went to a place I felt the Lord leading me to in the North Rift area of Kenya,  what took place was remarkable. We found the children the Lord revealed in three separate locations nearly 180Kms apart. For more info please click here.

As a result we have seen children from the dump sites coming to Church having to walk for miles. Many have been healed and 104 have made Jesus their Lord and saviour. We have places in family homes for some of these precious kids and we have a vision to begin a feeding programme for them once a week at the Higher Vision Church we helped relocate one year ago. Here are some photos of Charity and Dorcas, two young girls we found on one dump, It’s a very long story but we now have these two in a loving family home by Gods grace.

We need your continued prayers and your practical help to continue to help those still living on the dumps. We wish you a very blessed Christmas and 2015. Thank you for all you do to support us.

God bless you - Ian

Mission Living Waters are supporting a small number of very bright youngsters in gaining secondary school education. This is Elizabeth, she is 16 years old and her ambition is to become a lawyer, we are supporting Elizabeth through her secondary school years to enable her to gain the grades she needs to access university. The secondary school system in Kenya requires fees from the students, many cant afford to pay these fees so their education stops as they finish primary school. We have a short list of 7 young students just like Elizabeth that need support to go on to become Doctors, Teachers, Engineers etc.
We need your help to send these bright young people on to gain a good education, so they can have a bright future, to gain good jobs and help others in their community who have not been so fortunate, can you help us.

In August I was invited by Evangelist Teresia Wairimu of Kenya to attend the International conference in Nairobi for F E M ministries. It was a great privilege and I met many new people who are carrying the gospel to the nations. After my week in Nairobi under the amazing anointing of that house, I travelled to Eldoret and Bungoma and Mumias in the Rift valley on mission. These areas are poor areas and the people face many struggles, what took place was amazing as God revealed many things and confirmed His word with signs, more details of that time will follow, look under the Gospel - click here

Testimony sent from Pastor Rachel of Takaye Church Malindi Kenya May 2013

A young man who is a friend of Cornelius from Takaye Church came to visit one afternoon to explain to me how he met the Lord, he was a muslim and the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him one evening and asked him to follow and serve him. During that time he was suffering from a very terrible skin sickness; so he asked the Lord, how do I know that it is you Lord Jesus Christ talking to me? The answer was, I will heal your skin problem right now, put some water in a basin, go into the bathroom and say this prayer; "The Spirit of God has anointed this water and changed it into medicine, the moment you begin to wash your body, the terrible skin sickness will go and your skin shall be whole again. The Youngman obeyed and he was completely healed. Now he has been serving the Lord with his friend Cornelius.

No one will call you barren when you trust the God of Israel

This same young man also explained that he was married, for 4 years they had tried to start a family, all these years they have been praying, the church pastor and members have also praying for them, later they decided to see a doctor. The woman’s womb was okay but the problem was with the husband, he was told the chance for him to become a father was negative.

I told him to stay with us for some days, we asked the Lord what we should do, the Spirit of the Lord insisted us to pray for him, we were faithful and one evening we prayed for him; the presence of the Lord was there, we could feel it, later that Youngman told us, while we were praying, something fell upon him, that moment he was taken to another world and began to shout very loud, “thank you Jesus Christ! Thank you my Lord! I thank you so much!

You will not believe me brother, but last year 2012 July the wife became pregnant, and last week she gave birth to baby boy. Glory to God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! No one will call you barren when you trust the God of Israel, that is what I told him on that day, when he told me his story.
