As of December 2012, we have started the chicken project in Takaye, this is the first chicken coop under construction, the walls are to be finished and then we will fence the area in and introduce stock in the new year when that is all done. It is hoped that this project will begin to self fund in one year and then it will begin in helping to feed widows and orphans. DAVID EDWARD HALL, 8th July 1960-30th October 2012. A Friend of Gods, a true Friend to Angela and I, a great encourager, faithful Man of God, Apostle, Loving Husband to Julie and Father to their children, went to be with the Lord Tuesday lunchtime following a heart attack sustained on Monday evening. David was an example of a truly given Christian life, He overcame many obstacles, walked in Obedience sacrificially, he knew how to lead people, giving glory and honour to God, and to release people into all God had called them to be, In Africa this year he gave so much, opening new doors for M L W, he left a spiritual deposit that will grow and bare good fruit, he showed me things I didn’t know, touched so many lives including my own, It was my great privilege to know David as my close friend, and to minister alongside him. I honour this Man of God, it is well, “Well Done, good and faithful servant.”
We now have clean running water in Takaye, this is a big deal and cause for great celebration, the church toilets are now finished and can be seen to the left of the church building, In September 2012 we finally have clean running water connected, this is a fantastic step forward as we work towards our long term goal of a Bore hole supply to establish a free reliable supply of clean water here in Takaye. A very big thank you to all those who have made this achievment possible, its our first big step in the very important issue of clean water... We are delighted to let everyone know that our project in Takaye continues to move forward with the addition of electricity into the Church building, this makes a big difference to all those using the Church, either on Sundays or during the week when the nursery school operates.
We are very happy to share with you on this website. We hope it will help in keeping you up to date with our work in Kenya, and to encourage your continued generous support which has been such a blessing and much needed for the Trust to help those in need here. We need your partnership. Our aim beyond sharing the gospel is to help people in practical ways to help themselves, Thank you.
